What I've been working on...

I had a great time working on these hot pink and black polka dot aprons for my four neices for their birthdays. I can't wait to see what they look like on them.

You gotta love baseball!

We had the best time with my parents. We went over to the high school and played ball. Gracie was so excited, especially to play with Grandpa and Grandma. She asks us all of the time to play baseball. Lots and lots of fun! Afterwards we walked the track for some exercise. What a beautiful day! We have a future ball player on our hands!

On the Puget Sound in Washington

What a beautiful day it was on the Puget Sound in Gig Harbor Washington. We walked along the shore with our great friends Brian and Jessica. We played with rocks, sand and looked for little crabs. We got lots of sunshine! Grace loved throwing rocks into the water. She was very content. What a lovely day.

Gracie's first big sledding day!

KABOOM! Grace was still laughing after the big crash!

We had the best time on Friday April 3rd. We went sledding as a family. Grace was beyond excited. I think we have a new little daredevil. She is not afraid of sledding.

Her first response after Grace and I went down the hill was.....Let's do it again! Laughing and giggling all the way down.

When she went down with daddy she exclaimed "Were Flying"! It was so cute.

She built 2 snowmen and had a snowball fight. She had great aim and got Uncle Matt really good! We had a lot of fun with Aunt Sammie and Uncle Matt. We were out there 2 hours and had great sunburns. It was the best!

We had the best afternoon with our little slugger. This was Gracie's first time really playing ball. She absolutely loved every moment. She had so much energy and practiced how to stand, hit and throw. We have to admit that mommy and daddy are so proud of her. She even hit the ball without any help a few times. Gracie said she loves baseball.

Our family had a fun day making 100% whole wheat bread and 100% whole wheat cinnamon bread. Grace was very excited to make her first loaf. She worked very hard...well mommy did too! It was a special memory. I love my little girl.

Teddy Bear Picnic

Grace and I went to Playgroups Teddy Bear Picnic. We had such a wonderful time. The kids ate Teddy Grahams while Katrina read the story of the Teddy Bear Picnic. We had a picnic lunch on blankets and had fun visiting with everyone. All the kids played in the gym. Grace especially loved playing in the tunnel with Julie. She had lots of fun. 25 Random Things About Me

So I took Jaque's challenge.....It was tough! So here are 25 Random things about me that people may or may not know. I hope others will take the challenge as well. Good luck!

1. The furthest east I have been is Vernal Utah.

2. I'm married to the perfect man for me. Oh how I love my Dan. He is a sweetheart and I adore him.

3. I love my Grace! It is such a blessing to be a mom. She has a sweet spirit and is a miracle.

4. I am addicted to scrapbook supplies and paper.(my husband is a good sport)

5. I love to watch Dancing With The Stars! Dan took me to see the Dancing with the Stars Tour. My secret (which is not so secret now) is to take dancing lessons with my hubby. I think it would be sooooo romantic.

6. I absolutely love and adore our parents, brothers, sisters and nieces.

7. I love chocolate- life would be so sad without it.

8. I believe in wishing on stars. (My dreams are bound to come true) The most important ones already have.

9. I love quotes and have my own quote book.

10. I gave birth naturally-NEVER AGAIN- I want an epidural!

11. I am a hopeless romantic (I'm glad Dan is too)

12. I love to decorate, get ideas and sketch them. One day I would like to design my own home.

13. I have always wanted to start my own business (I wish I had more guts)

14. I am extremely sentimental and I have a very hard time throwing things away.

15. I hate when food is not completely wiped off the plate before putting it in the dishwasher. That way it always comes out clean.

16. I taught seminary for 3 years. ( I learned so much) what a blessing!

17. I played varsity fast pitch and soccer in high school and sang in choir and Crimson Image.

18. I hate doing dares, I would rather give the truth any day.

19. I love camping- Family, friends, food, fire, fun!

20. I love making the little things special.

21. I only gained 13 pd's total when I was pregnant with Grace.

22. I refuse to buy a sleeping bag that cannot zip with my husbands sleeping bag.

23. I love to throw parties and go to them too.

24. I love holidays, birthdays and anniversaries. I believe everyone should feel special on their special days.

25. I am a night owl- I love to stay up! You don't want to know what time it is right now! :)

P.F. Changs

We had an amazing anniversary weekend in Salt Lake City. It was so much fun to be together! We ate at P.F Changs. Oh my.....it is delicious! Chicken Lettuce wraps are our favorite. We stayed at the Radisson Hotel in a jacuzzi suite. I'm relaxing just thinking about that tub. We toured temple square. It was breathtaking! It was the longest we had been away from Grace, but we had such a romantic and special time.

We are back!

We had a lovely time with our families in Washington the past month. The day that we left Rexburg we got stuck in white out on the way to the airport in Boise. That was very scary. The storm followed us. One hour before our flight left the snow came down in Boise. We were very lucky to make it out that day. Many flights got cancelled. We made it to Washington and it was beautiful as usual. That night that same storm must have followed, and it just dumped and dumped down upon us. We hadn't seen snow like that in WA in over 10 years. We had a White Christmas too! We did get lots of beautiful pictures in the snow. On Dec. 20th 2008 Samantha and Matt were married for time and all eternity in the Seattle Temple. It was so beautiful to see my youngest sibling get married to the man of her dreams. We have known Matt since he was 6 yrs old. He is a great ! He fit perfectly into the family. So we stayed very busy on this trip and had lots of fun playing with parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. We had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are very excited to be back home and get back into the swing of things.
